dinner

Syra sets a modern Middle Eastern table in the heart of Salamanca. The cooking is contemporary yet rooted in tradition, letting slow techniques, vivid spice and bold sauces do the talking.

Think eighteen-hour lamb shoulder enriched with mojo and cooled by cucumber yoghurt, or Cape Grim beef paired with king mushroom and a flicker of shatta. Wagyu beef kofta comes with smoked tomato and pickled vegetables, while king prawns meet amba butter and charred bread. On the side, twice cooked samneh potato hums with garlic, and fattoush salata brings a lift of sumac and shards of crispy bread.

Vegetarian friendly, with vegan and gluten free options available, Syra keeps the experience welcoming without fuss. Settle in for a flavoursome wander through the Middle East, plate by plate. Book a spot and bring an appetite — it is a spice trip worth taking.
