In the heart of Hobart City Centre, Wooden Horse Bar and Pizza Hobart serves up Tasmanian warmth with an Italian accent. The mood is cosy and convivial, the kind of place where locals settle in and visitors feel instantly at home. An Italian chef lends authenticity to a globally inspired pizza line-up, while the kitchen celebrates local produce with unfussy confidence.

Expect comforting, crowd-pleasing plates elevated by good ingredients and a sense of fun. From classic pizzas like margherita or pepperoni to hand‑layered lasagne and a silky carbonara, the Italian thread runs strong. There is heartier fare too: think a slow-cooked pulled beef brisket burger, a generous Tasmanian lamb shank, and homely sweets such as homemade sticky date pudding or a traditional crème brûlée. It is food designed for sharing, lingering, and returning to.

At the bar, Tasmanian wines and beers are poured with pride, and happy hours keep the conversation flowing. Whether you are popping in for an easy bite, planning a casual catch‑up, or marking a special evening, dine‑in comfort and handy takeaway make it effortlessly versatile.

Gather your favourites, raise a glass, and let Wooden Horse Bar and Pizza Hobart take the reins for a delicious night out. Book ahead, bring a hearty appetite, and trot on in.
