Oliveti

Oliveti brings a coastal Italian sensibility to Glenelg South, channelling South Australia’s shoreline into thoughtful, contemporary plates.

The menu opens with small plates that set the tone. Cape Bauer oysters arrive dressed with limoncello vinaigrette, while blue swimmer crab cannoli is lifted with citrus herb mayo, chilli and fish roe. Pasta follows with equal poise, from tagliolini threaded with Goolwa pipi, prawns, preserved lemon and bottarga, to reginette folded through vodka pork sausage, garlic and spinach.

Mains continue the coastal conversation with snapper resting over braised farro, basil, fennel and herb oil, or a robust O'Connor's scotch, 300g and cooked with assurance. Desserts close things gently with cherry semifreddo topped with caramelised white chocolate and mint, or mandarin panna cotta finished with amaretto crumble.
