Reviews

This unassuming place delighted the tastebuds! Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. The prawns were so good we ordered more. Service was good and by the time we finished eating we were surrounded by locals and regular diners. Always a great recommendation. Full marks to the chef. Loved the experience especially the birthday dessert! And we had a river view.

A beautiful fresh white -washed look to the place with touches of teal colour and surfboard decoration to add a beachy feel while gazing out on the Noosa river. Share plate style with good variety of protein with seafood dominating. Dishes are beautifully presented, flavoursome and generous in size. Good value for the cost. Great wine list and beer selection. Overall a great place to dine and relax in a comfortable setting.

On arrival, we were seated at a perfect table out of the sun, in the breeze and capturing the beautiful view. We shared 6 courses, each one delicious. The freshest oysters, crispy chicken wings, fish and sweet potato fries, beef tartare, prawn in katafi pastry and chicken skewers. We especially loved the laid back atmosphere and the Aussie playlist. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

We had an outstanding meal at 'Barefoot Bar & Grill' last Friday. Delicious tastes, & clearly food all freshly prepared/cooked. We shared a dozen plump oysters, followed by Thai fishcakes with Japanese sesame dipping sauce, swordfish sashimi with lime & coconut cream topped with Thai basil, & Shitake mushroom spring-rolls with sesame-mayo dipping sauce....exquisite tastes all round!

We had a great dinner, four of us shared 5 really nice seafood plates and drinks made. We had a beautiful afternoon with a great service and lovely food. Location is by the river, next to the road but not noisy. Thanks

Quality seafood, "tasting plate" concept works.
Fish cakes tad too much chilli, but thats personal taste.
Wine chilled to a tee and the waitress Maria knew the dishes different nuances and he service and enthusiasm was first class.
The stunning view up the river was an added bonus.

This was the second time we'd eaten here & again the food was delicious, wonderful tastes. The service on the night, though, not quite so good! The fresh seafood & just-made dishes to share, though, were as good as before. We will return!

I've been to Barefoot bar & grill many times. Its actually our local favourite so I was thrilled when they joined first table. Food is always delicious. The chilli salt chicken wings are gaining their own reputation as the best on Gympie Terrace. Menu is a winner. Great beers on tap too. Super friendly service and it also overlooks the river. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks guys for another sensational meal.
