dinner

In Currumbin Waters, Zipang Japanese delivers the kind of comforting, authentic dining experience that keeps locals coming back. Warm, relaxed and effortlessly welcoming, it is the perfect spot to settle in for an easy evening centred around one thing done exceptionally well: ramen.

The true stars of the menu are the rich, deeply satisfying ramen bowls, each crafted with carefully layered broths and classic Japanese flavours. The Chicken Shoyu is a standout, featuring a golden chicken broth that is lighter in style yet full of depth and warmth, paired with chicken breast, aji tama egg, wakame, bamboo shoots and fresh noodles. For those who enjoy a little spice, the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu brings bold flavour with spicy miso, chilli oil and flakes layered into the rich broth for an extra kick.

Vegan diners are equally well looked after with the Happy Monk Vegan ramen, packed with shiitake mushrooms, kombu, wakame, sprouts and fresh vegetables in a fragrant ginger based broth that feels both nourishing and comforting.

While ramen takes centre stage, the small plates are the perfect way to begin. Think classic gyoza, edamame sprinkled with sea salt and share style dishes that bring everyone around the table together before the main event arrives steaming hot.

Whether you are chasing the perfect bowl of ramen on a cool evening or simply craving comforting Japanese flavours done right, Zipang Japanese delivers every time.
