In Terrigal on the Central Coast, Coco Bar and Dining serves a modern, sophisticated take on Asian fusion. The room hums with a vibrant energy, stylish yet warmly welcoming, equally suited to celebratory dinners and easy-going catch-ups, all with handcrafted cocktails close at hand.

From the grill to the sea, flavours travel with intent: yakitori skewers—grilled tofu in a teriyaki glaze and almond satay chicken—balance smoke, sweetness and nutty richness. Oceanside plates nod to the setting with Sydney Rock oysters glossed in miso and red pepper butter, and aromatic stir-fried pipis lifted by garlic, ginger, sake and dashi.

The menu roams from dumplings (chicken and prawn; pork and chives, steamed) to a street-food spirit: slow-cooked pulled lamb tacos brightened with pickled red onion and slaw, and duck and cashew spring rolls with a zesty nam jim. Small plates keep the tempo high, from a crisp Taiwanese cucumber salad with herbs and soy to Szechuan fried cauliflower lacquered with Vietnamese lemongrass caramel. For lingering, there are generous share plates—char-grilled wagyu rump cap with broccolini and wakame soy, or an orange anise glazed duck leg in a star anise reduction.

Drinks lean refreshing and refined, from beers such as Asahi Super Dry to aperitifs like Aperol, with cocktails crafted by hand. Settle in, share widely, and savour the bold flavours in this stylish, welcoming setting. Make a date, bring your appetite, and let Coco do the rest—one delicious bite at a time.
