This eatery has plenty to be smug about. A recent renovation has turned Brisbane's favourite social spot into a rustic, leafy haven in Stones Corner. Paired with a lovingly-made sharing menu and some of the best craft beers in the area, The Smug Fig is perfectly entitled to its name.

It's an irresistibly charming spot. A communal, canteen-esque dining room is brightened tenfold by some truly impressive wall art. Welcome cute Japanese characters, dreamy herons and the Great Wave of Kanagawa to your supper! A gorgeous and unique backdrop, it never fails to attract some admiring stares. If you fancy going al fresco, their airy conservatory is the perfect indoor/outdoor experience that is exceedingly chilled and #goodvibesonly.

So, get on with filling your table with a whole host of yums! They're taking popular crowd-pleasers and giving them the fig treatment. Take the lamb ribs that are smothered with pomegranate molasses and a caramelised yoghurt, the chicken wings that are served with a gochujang sauce and cider-braised pork belly with beer mustard and red cabbage. Their ingenuity is proving very delicious indeed! And vegetarians can get in on the action too with some stuffed peppers, brassicas and a mighty cheese plate.

Finally, feel extra smug with a signature cocktail to hand. With the citrusy Sangria, summery Aperol Spritz, gin grapefruit slushie and salted caramel espresso martini, there's plenty of liquid fun to be had. Savour every swig at The Smug Fig.
