Boo's Kitchen

This restaurant isn’t full of ghosts and ghouls; rather, delicious Northern Thai flavours from the Isan region.

Bringing families together through food is the aim of Boo, the owner of Woolloongabba restaurant, Boo’s Kitchen on Annerley Road. With a focus on Northern Thai and Isan cuisine, this bright and breezy restaurant has an abundance of natural light with a glass frontage, or dine alfresco under market umbrellas and soak up the sun.

The epic menu offers an abundance of small, medium and large morsels, all with a Northern Thai and/ or Asian influence. It’s recommended that you share a few dishes between a group. You could try Boo’s Papaya Salad Platter which is one of her favorite share plates, laden with all sorts of meats and salads or delve into the likes of Boo’s signature Isan style salmon custard – steamed curried salmon with herbs – or perhaps lightly battered and deep fried soft shell crab in yellow curry or a fresh Prawn Salad. Not in the mood for Thai food? Try the club sandwich, or a great cheeseburger with chips and gravy.

The drinks menu is compact but has everything you need. Wines come by bottle or by the glass, whilst household lagers like Asahi make for a refreshing gulp.
