Introducing ela, a Mediterranean restaurant inspired by the sun-soaked beaches of Santorini and Sicily. Found in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, at Hotel Alba, this light-filled open-air haven brings you a fresh perspective on the summer-ready cuisine of the Med.

With inspiration from the ocean to the olive groves, the sea breezes to the sunsets, expect a laid-back atmosphere and a menu that evokes the balmy vibes of this timeless coastline.

Robust antipasti, including marinated kalamata olives and whipped ricotta & honey with grilled flatbreads, are excellent shared starters, prior to croquettes and burrata with tomato, garlic, basil oil and crostini.

Move on to larger plates in the form of Portuguese-inspired grilled chicken and Moroccan-spiced lamb backstrap, meanwhile, side dishes revel in a crowd-pleasing combination of texture and flavour.

For a slice of the coast in Adelaide, Ela is calling.
