Don't let your day run away from you! Instead, enjoy wholesome, home-cooked brekkies and lunches at The Runaway Spoon, the family-owned-and-operated treasure in Lindfield.

A modern and friendly eatery, The Runaway Spoon is bound to run away with your heart once you settle down in its open-plan dining room that has tables for all party sizes. If it's a nice day, head to the streetside patio to soak in some rays in this charming little neighbourhood. Where you can come as you are, The Runaway Spoon holds no pretensions and focuses purely on serving gorgeous homemade eats for its beloved diners.

The brekky menu goes far and beyond your standard eggs and sausages. For starters, they even have an entire section dedicated to brekky bowls. From veggie yumms to heaps of fresh fruit, coconut chia pudding and a nourishing bowl with rice and bean salsa, there's a bowl out there for everyone. And that's not to say they don't do an epic fry up too. The signature big brekkie has all the sausages, eggs, bacon and tomato your heart desires whilst the prosciutto green eggs offer a touch of indulgence that's hard to say no to. And this is before we even get to their fritters and waffles!

Moving on to lunch and the delicious story continues with more themed bowls ranging from sushi to smoked salmon wonton, Moroccan lamb and Asian-style prawns. Alternatively, tuck into a wagyu beef, crispy chicken or lentil and pumpkin burger, all packed with coleslaw, salad, aioli, cheese, you name it! You can also enjoy breakfasty goodies for lunch if that's what feels right. Surely, they must have a special word for that? Isn't it brunch, or something?
