Tucked into Wentworth Point in Greater Western Sydney, Plain Folks champions the simple pleasure of good food done exceedingly well. It is a cosy burger joint with casual seating, serving modern, flavourful burgers where fresh ingredients and unfussy technique meet a welcome that is easy and unpretentious. The name is modest, but the cooking tells a richer story of comfort and craft.

The kitchen leans into bold, familiar cravings, refined just enough to make them sing. Beef burgers arrive juicy and deeply savoury, while K-style fried chicken brings crunch and a lick of heat. Loaded crispy fries play the crowd-pleaser - a golden base for embellishment.

Lining the pass, house-made signatures wait their turn: cheese powder for a nostalgic dusting, chilli and garlic sauce for a bright punch, kimchi and truffle mayo for a silken, earthy finish. Other unique menu options include the bulgogi burger and truffle fries.

The mood is relaxed and contemporary, made for effortless catch-ups and low-key feasts. It is the kind of place where the clatter from the kitchen blends with the hum of conversation, and plates are built for sharing.

Head to Plain Folks for flavours that overdeliver and an atmosphere that keeps things delightfully straightforward. Pull up a chair, pick your sauce and let “plain” prove anything but!
