Frog Hollow Tapas

With a name that wouldn't be out of place in a gothic fairytale, Frog Hollow Tapas is every bit as mythical and magical as its name suggests.

Specialising in Spanish and Mediterranean eats, Frog Hollow recreates all the summery beauty of southern Europe with an interior design concept that intrigues and surprises at every turn. The colour palette is pleasing with warm woods, burned oranges and mellow yellow whisking us away to countryside bistros in Spain whilst the worn wooden floors, high ceilings and big wooden doors that are always flung open speak for Frog Hollow's instinct for community and new connections.

The menu is compact but has a treat for everyone, and you are encouraged to try as many authentic flavours as possible. Start out with some smaller bites, like patas bravas, tortillas filled with Spanish potato and capsicum and maybe some baby calamari to be on the safe side.

Then order in the bigger flavours like the sobrassada meatballs submerged in a rich tomato sauce, lamb kofta bundled up in a crispy pita bread, and some pan-fried chorizo (because no Spanish menu is complete without this smoky sausage.) Finally, if you want to try something completely new, their specials board is always teaming with Spanish delicias!
