Nestled in Barangaroo, Annamese is a contemporary Vietnamese restaurant known for its innovative twists on traditional cuisine. Named after 'Annam', the name for Vietnam before the French colonial era, they take inspiration from the rich culinary heritage of Vietnam and Asia. Their focus on using fresh, sustainable seafood and locally sourced ingredients also adds an Australian influence to their dishes.

Annamese is situated in a prime location with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour, offering a refined dining experience in a bustling food hub. For appetisers, the Sydney Rocks Oysters are an elegant choice, with black caviar and a Nuoc cham haisan dressing. The Vietnamese-inspired rice paper rolls are also a delicious option, with BBQ chicken, vermicelli and zesty hoisin sauce.

Both salads and main dishes are diverse and flavourful. The Green Papaya Salad is a light choice, packed with tiger prawns, crispy pork and fragrant Vietnamese herbs. Duck enthusiasts should try their roasted option, served with banana blossom and Vietnamese specialities. For mains, the Crispy Pork Belly is wok-fried with chilli jam and cashews for an irresistible, savoury finish. Wagyu lovers should try their chargrilled Tri Tip steak with a black opal glaze and seafood salad.

Annamese also caters to vegetarians with options like the Twice Cooked Green Beans, with yellow bean and fresh basil. Pair your meal with their impressive cocktail menu for the ultimate modern Asian dining experience. With their refined atmosphere, fantastic views, and innovative cuisine, Annamese is the perfect location for a memorable meal.
