dinner

On York Street in the heart of the CBD, Bar Bruno hums with the rhythm of a favourite osteria. Its warm hospitality sets the tone - the host who remembers your name and your order - while a modern sensibility nods to the Odd Culture Group and the buzz of nearby Razz Room.

The cooking traces a confident line between Italian tradition and Sydney produce. The aperitivo selection brings crumbed olives hiding nduja mascarpone - the spuntino selection shows finesse with a unique mushroom carpaccio dressed in porcini vinaigrette and Parmigiano Reggiano.

Pasta keeps things generous, from casarecce with pistachio and zucchini to spaghettini threaded with Balmain bug and a spicy tomato sugo, while comfort comes in the form of an elegant eggplant parmigiana.

Bar Bruno's built for regulars and rendezvous alike. It's a place for the table you drift to after a long day. Drop by, settle in, and let it slide into your weekly rhythm.
