In Perth Central, Lantern On The Quay brings a sophisticated take on Cantonese cuisine, where hospitality and craft take centre stage. An elegant, refined dining room sets the tone for meticulous plates that honour tradition while savouring the moment. The mood is polished yet warm, making it a natural choice for celebrations and lingering evenings alike.

The kitchen leans into classics with confidence: signature Peking duck arrives with soft pancake, pickles, cucumber and a silky homemade sauce, while wasabi king prawns spark the appetite. Dim sum favourites, from prawn dumplings to prawn and pork siu mai, show careful pleating and delicate bite. Comfort is close at hand too, with chicken and corn egg drop and traditional Shanghai hot and sour soups.

Live local seafood takes centre stage with preparations that balance wok fire and precision. Snow crab and lobster can be wok-fried with garlic, chilli and spiced salt, or cloaked in salted egg yolk. Toothfish is either fried to a golden finish or steamed with ginger and signature soy sauce. Local scallops meet XO or Kung-Po, while wagyu with black truffle sea salt and sizzling tenderloin signal pure indulgence.

Service is poised, the ambience refined, and the room well suited to milestones and memorable moments. Make a date with Cantonese elegance, book your seat, and let the evening glow at Lantern On The Quay.
