Set in the vibrant heart of Richmond, Colombar is a labour of love inspired by the tropical soul of Sri Lanka. The restaurant brings together time-honoured recipes and contemporary flair, creating a rhythm of flavours that feels both nostalgic and new, island-bright yet city-smart.

Mornings begin indulgently with honeyed pancakes brushed with kithul and lemon, or signature French toast topped with berries and pistachio crumble. Brunch turns savoury and satisfying, from an egg and bacon roll nestled in soft brioche to a mushroom medley layered with truffle, poached eggs and herb-flecked creaminess.

As evening unfolds, the spice cabinet opens. Ceylon fish cutlets arrive crisp and tangy, while black pork curry with rice speaks in roasted, aromatic whispers. Kottu brings chopped roti or string hoppers to the fore, devilled chicken adds a hit of heat, and playful twists appear in dishes like karaage chicken burger and eggs Benedict with black truffle hollandaise.
