Di Stasio brings a striking marriage of food and art to Carlton. Conceived by Hassell Architects, its brutalist, club-like mood is animated by bold interventions: sculptures by Shaun Gladwell and vivid works by Reko Rennie make the room feel as much a gallery as a dining space.
Inside, guests can drift between Bar Sport, the intimate Ladies’ Lounge, and the dramatic Caravaggio Room, each offering its own cadence for lunch or dinner.
On the plate, time-honoured Italian technique meets contemporary polish. Pizzas arrive simply dressed, from the classic Margherita Regina with fior di latte, tomato and basil to the salami-forward Salamino.
Meanwhile, the pasta selection features the storied Lasagna Pasqualina, seasoned for 36 years, and Spaghettone Carbonara Di Stasio with smoked bacon, chilli, egg yolk and Parmigiano.
Whether perched at Bar Sport or tucked into the Ladies’ Lounge, this is a place to linger, look and savour. Make a date, surrender to the spectacle, and let la dolce vita steal the show!
