In Carlton North, Hap brings a cosy, vibrant spirit to the daily ritual. The aroma of expertly brewed coffee mingles with the bakery’s freshness, setting the tone for unhurried mornings and easygoing lunches. It is the sort of place where the counter gleams with pastries, juices are pressed bright and clean, and conversation hums comfortably.

The kitchen leans into comfort with personality. The Hap Big Brekkie gathers eggs, hashbrown and Filipino pork sausage with avocado and a splash of banana ketchup on sourdough - a familiar plate with a playful wink. Brunch might drift towards haloumi and avocado with spicy hot honey and a poached egg, while lunch turns heartier - think hoisin meatballs tucked into a soft sub, or a crisp chicken schnitzel bun layered with chilli jam and jalapeño slaw, fries on the side for good measure. It is flavour-forward, generous and quietly confident.

To sip, the mango jasmine iced tea is fragrant and sunny, and the cookie latte delivers nostalgic sweetness without fuss, alongside fresh juices and all the classics.

Whether dropping in for a quick pastry and coffee or settling into the afternoon, Hap keeps things warm, welcoming and just a little bit cheeky. Swing by, follow your appetite, and let the good vibes happen at Hap!
