JuJu arrives in Mermaid Beach with a wink and a flourish, featuring sleek lines and a modern fit-out. This two-storey venue offers a high-end restaurant downstairs for lingering dinners and a rooftop bar where DJs shape the tempo as the night gathers pace.

Lighter plates nod to the coast and native botanicals. You can enjoy freshly shucked oysters with sake and peach mignonette, or white fish sashimi lifted by lemon myrtle, koji cream, and burnt citrus. The menu successfully straddles Japanese technique and contemporary Australian sensibility.

Mains steer into deeper waters and richer cuts. Glacier 51 toothfish carries scents of soy, kombu, ginger, and lemongrass, while dry-aged duck breast pairs with berry, foie gras, parsnip, and cherry jus. Desserts pirouette between raspberry sorbet with tarragon cremeux and the decadent Chococo.

Settle in, take your time, and let the good JuJu find you.
