The Ukrainian Club Brisbane is more than just a neighbourhood eatery. Owned and operated by the charitable organisation The Ukrainian Community of Queensland Inc., the restaurant reinvests all profits into supporting displaced Ukrainians who have recently settled in Queensland.

The menu is filled with homely favourites and hearty Eastern European dishes that celebrate the richness of Ukrainian cuisine. Guests are invited to warm up with a bowl of borsch or dumpling soup and share fluffy garlic pampushky at the table.

Classics such as varenyky with potato and cheese, holubtsi cabbage rolls stuffed with beef and rice, slow-cooked kozak goulash, and the much-loved chicken kyiv showcase comforting flavours passed down through generations. To finish, desserts like the layered medivnyk honey cake or indulgent Kyiv cake with cashews and chocolate glaze provide a sweet taste of tradition.
