Batica Dining at The Westin brings a polished, contemporary take on Modern Australian cuisine to the heart of Brisbane’s CBD. The mood is sophisticated yet unpretentious, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and a rhythm that suits everything from lingering dinners to celebratory toasts.

The kitchen’s coastal leanings and Asian accents arrive with finesse: think oysters brightened with ponzu, cucumber and finger lime, or champagne lobster lifted by cauliflower, beurre blanc and a whisper of wasabi with pak choi. European technique meets antipodean produce in plates that balance richness with clarity, comfort with freshness.

From there, classics are reimagined with quiet confidence. Ravioli comes silken with buffalo and cow’s milk ricotta and spinach, while a White Pyrenees lamb rump is matched to charred leeks, herb salad, sumac and a glossy coffee jus. The grill keeps things timeless with a grass-fed eye fillet and a Black Angus sirloin from Kilcoy, while from the garden, a lively salad and roasted pumpkin with goat’s curd, pumpkin oil, sage and walnuts offer vibrant counterpoints.

To finish, affogato teams vanilla ice cream, espresso and a dash of Mr. Black, or lean into the warmth of the Batica Signature Cake with marsala zabaglione and amaretti. Make a date with Batica Dining, settle in for the sparkle, and let the evening glide by.
