Located in the heart of Cronulla’s rapidly evolving new town centre, Croydon Lane brings a little Iberian swagger to Southern Sydney and the Shire. It is known as the Shires home for tapas, drinks, tunes and good times, and the mood fits the brief: intimate yet lively, with the pleasant hum of conversation drifting between bar stools and cosy corners. More than a bar, it feels like a destination discovered rather than simply booked.

The kitchen leans into Spain’s love affair with grazing. Silky Jamón Serrano and traditional salchichón set the tone, followed by a duo of cheeses that move from the nutty depth of aged menchego to the buttery, caramel-noted V de Navarra. Ibérico ham and manchego croquetas arrive hot and golden, while gambas al ajillo bring garlic, warmth and a lick of wine to the table. Warm flatbread and grilled sourdough make easy companions for sharing, and the finale nods to sherry country with a sticky date pudding al Pedro Ximénez, rich, perfumed and unmistakably indulgent.

Atmosphere is everything here: glasses raised, plates traded, music threading through the night. It is a place to linger, snack, sip and circle back for one more bite.

Follow the glow of the overhead lights, claim one of the incredible new seats as your own and let the evening unfold tapas-style. Book in, bring your appetite, and join the good times - no map required.
