Nestled a stone's throw from the sun-kissed shores of Northern Beaches, Sydney, French Basket beckons diners to embark on an authentic French culinary adventure.

French Basket caters to those seeking classic French fare prepared with the freshest ingredients. Start with the house-marinated mixed olives or cheesy garlic bread with French gruyere for the table. Small plates include the salmon tartare marinated in citrus and served on an avocado salsa and a spicy, tangy aioli. Alternatively, dive into some escargots cooked with garlic and parsley butter and served with a baguette.

Mains are the stars of the show, with homemade duck confit slow-cooked to perfection and served with potato gratin and a red wine jus. Vegetarians can delight in the grilled eggplant gratin, cooked in garlic and basil and infused with tomato sauce, layered in parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

French Basket prides itself on their warm and knowledgeable staff, impeccable service and delectable meals, which have earned it a stellar reputation.

In essence, French Basket transcends mere sustenance – it offers a delectable voyage through the heart of French cuisine. Open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch as a cafe, French Basket promises an unforgettable taste of France that will linger long after your visit.
