The food is also well worth the journey. Offering their famous 8-course degustation menu, diners are treated to stunning local ingredients that are served with gastronomical pizazz. The meat version includes a melt-in-the-mouth wagyu bresaola, Fraser Island spanner crab, Aquna Murray cod and sweet pork belly from Bangalow. All served with intuitive sides that showcase the creativity of the modern kitchen, these dishes will simply take your breath away.

The same can, of course, be said for the vegetarian menu. Indeed, the modern kitchen shines here too with stracciatella paired with juicy watermelon, confit fennel accompanied by savoy cabbage and Holy Goat fromage frais bejewelled with pomegranate seeds and pickled grapes.
