dinner

Collaroy’s GurTaj is an Indian restaurant that dishes up aromatic curries and tandoor-baked breads in a cosy, welcoming setting.

Classic dishes from the Chicken and Vegetarian menu are on offer such as butter chicken, and Mushroom, Potato and Pea curry perhaps paired with a variety of Naans. You can also sample their delectable biryani cooked with whole spices, herbs, nuts with chicken.

To begin, it has to be an array of the GurTaj’s favourite starters, accompanied by a selection of freshly-made chutneys. Kingfisher beer, a selection of house red and white wines and Indian-themed cocktails complete the experience.

Found moments from the beach and with free parking, GurTaj is a must-visit for fans of genuine Punjabi cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment.
