On Sydney’s North Shore, Lillah brings a contemporary take on Middle Eastern dining to Lane Cove. It’s the kind of place where tradition meets a modern palate - warm spices, charcoal notes and garden-bright herbs, all handled with a light touch. The menu moves from graze-friendly beginnings to generous feasting, inviting the table to share the journey.

The room nods to a courtyard in full bloom - soft archways, a skylight and exposed brick set an intimate scene. White and black geometric tiles meet grey-washed wood tables, and an ivy-covered ceiling brings a leafy hush overhead. It’s an inviting spot to settle in over a meal and drinks with the people you love.

Begin with hummus as smooth as silk and handmade falafels, lifted by charcoal tahini and a hit of zhug. Small shares keep the tempo - think falafel crusted cauliflower layered with amba, hummus and muhammara - before the feast plates step in. A sticky date lamb shoulder, glazed with date and sumac molasses and paired with toum labneh and almonds, speaks of slow craft, while Jack’s Creek Angus flank steak arrives glossed with isot butter.

Gather your favourites, claim a table and let the sharing begin. Linger over mezze, stay for the feast and finish with a smile - at Lillah, the day writes itself!
