dinner

On the edge of the Nepean River in Penrith, Maldini's by the River brings a generous splash of la dolce vita to Greater Western Sydney. This slice of Italy pairs waterside calm with a warm, inviting ambience, suited to opulent dinners. It's a tranquil yet sophisticated venue where conversation flows, and Italian-inspired cooking takes centre stage with fine ingredients.

In the kitchen, familiarity meets finesse. Think hand-crumbed calamari with lemon aioli or a simple garlic and cheese pizza to share before twirling into handmade gnocchi Sorrentina with bocconcini, basil and Napoletana, or linguine marinara threaded with seafood and parsley.

From the grill, marinated lamb cutlets cosy up to creamy mash, while a 250g Black Angus scotch fillet arrives with seasonal greens and a glossy jus. To finish, classic comforts call - vanilla crème brûlée with fresh berries and almond biscotti, or a molten chocolate fondant.

At the bar, the choice is equally compelling, featuring a thoughtful selection of refreshing mocktails and artisanal non-alcoholic creations tailored to the moment.

Find your spot by the water, settle in, and let the riverside rhythm set the tone. Make a date with Maldini's by the River and say ciao to a meal that lingers long after the last bite!
