We got mostly starters - calamari, jalapeño poppers, cauliflower, guacamole and chips - all were excellent and the lady at the bar was very helpful. Cocktails were also very good I would highly recommend this place.

Great find in Sydney CBD.

Menu limited (skewers, burgers and bites) but tasty and well presented. Full menu is on the website.

Nightly specials add to the variety (steak on Wednesday).

Very cosy with low lighting and good background music. I guess booking advisable as only a few tables on the ground floor were open when we went.

Food was fantastic (ordered far too much) and the wine delicious. The staff who served and took our order were pretty poor.

No real understanding of what was on the menu. As we were ordering small plates and skewers, we asked what would be the suggested number of dishes and they had no clue. Another member of staff then said we should order loads of food as we can only place one order.
You were exceptionally aware they were trying to make sure you ordered as much as possible due to being on first table.

Despite what looked like a short-staffed bar, we were still greeted on arrival. Cocktails were amazing and service was friendly

The experience was great! We ordered prawn skewers and burgers. Both were delicious and made a good combination with the drinks. The pub has a good atmosphere which made the experience so enjoyable.

Cosy bar with extensive whisky selection. Mainly small tables with tiny swivel stools in a dimly lit intimate setting. We ordered a wide range of dishes of entrees and burgers (as we hadn’t eaten since breakfast). It seemed as though perhaps doing this wasn’t appreciated, although I did state we were there to review it. All dishes were great - chicken bites, squid, all skewered, beef burgers - except for the chicken burger - here they used thin breast fillets that are coated in a batter. My partner asked to go double, and this resulted in a batter ladened burger with no taste, and was left uneaten. Simply needs to have a decent breast or perhaps use the delicious chicken bites for n the burger instead.
Lovely drinks all round. Would we go back? Nothing really endeared us. So no. But if you lived in the area, it is definitely decent enough to become a regular haunt for a small group of friends.

Short walk from Wynard to this cute and cozy bar. Was great for an intimate date night. Food was good but the chicken burger was the stand out plus the prawn skewers were yum but only 2 prawns per skewer :-( But overall was excellent value for the price and a good selection of wines and beer!

This was a first with First table - excellent experience, small cosy bar with great food, really pleasant helpful staff and a great vibe for a wine and tapas type food ( we did not choose the burgers) after work for a couple of hours. The placw was busy but not over the top easy to find and welcoming - thank you

Dinner Date for two - cute environment, good sitting in convenient location and excellent foods and wines. I loved most that the menu was a little different to the standard pub while not being too crazy to enjoy. The sesame-soy-dressing on the salad, the baos and the cauliflower were my absolute favorites. Happy to come here again!

What a wonderful hidden gem. Between the amazing food and great drinks service it was a spectacular evening.
The poor belly mini baos are worth the trip alone. They melted in our mouths.
