Pepper Seeds brings a slice of Thai cooking to South Eveleigh, where aromatics, heat and citrus collide in satisfying harmony. The kitchen leans into the country’s great contrasts: the creaminess of coconut set against kaffir lime brightness, the comforting warmth of spices lifted by a lively lick of chilli.

Curries and noodles form the heartbeat here. Green curry chicken arrives fragrant and silky, while slow-cooked massaman beef, enriched with coconut cream and topped with golden sweet potato, speaks to deeper, richer notes.

Over at the wok station, there’s the theatre of pad Thai in two guises, including an eye-catching egg-net version with prawns that balances sweet, sour and nutty crunch in all the right places.

Stir-fries and rice keep up the pace: chicken cashew nut glossed with chilli jam - basil fried rice with a savoury kick. Among the house specials, salt ‘n’ pepper squid and prawns offer a punchy bite, while Spider Lanna pairs crispy soft-shell crab with a robust chilli paste.

Vegetarians are equally well met with wok-tossed baby sugarloaf cabbage or fresh bok choy, both kissed by the flame's smoky breath.

To sip, think Thai ginger beer, cooling coconut milk, or a signature house drink like Pepper Seeds On Fire. Gather your crew, follow the aromas, and let the woks do the talking!
