Kyiv Social brings the tastes of Ukraine to Sydney, where every meal tells a story of tradition and resilience.

Prepared by a dedicated team of newly arrived Ukrainian refugees, the kitchen leans into babusya’s cherished recipes, serving hearty, soul-warming flavours that invite conversation and connection. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the sort of place where shared plates and shared stories feel entirely at home.

The journey begins with pampushky and varenyky, handmade dumplings plump with comforting fillings. Mains nod to classics with a spirited twist. The 'Kyiv' - a golden chicken schnitzel hiding garlic butter within - while beef goulash simmers long and slow in tomato-paprika sauce beside creamy mash. Crisp bites of babusya’s salad and Kyiv garlic-butter mash keep things fresh and familiar.

For a gentle finish, there are non-alcoholic spritzes and bright, fruit-led mixes designed to complement the richness of the meal without overshadowing it.
