Warm timber, native Australian florals and a breezy, open plan set the scene for a day that drifts from golden morning light to Anzac Bridge sunsets. It is relaxed yet polished, the sort of place where the sea is close enough to taste.
Founded by hospitality veteran Tyson Rowsell, the kitchen is led by Head Chef Courtney Blyde, whose mantra is “fresh, clean and balanced, brunch food with personality.” The result is a seafood-forward take on Australian all-day dining, where crab and XO butter crumpets and a reimagined fish chowder pie speak to seasonality and craft, while favourites like burnt honey granola and braised beef hash quietly overdeliver.
As the day unfolds, the menu turns to crisp-as-you-like fish and chips, fragrant steamed fish and pasta with a maritime lilt, from clam mafaldine to garlic prawn spaghetti. An immersive coffee adventure by Paul Cabezas-Heathwood brings rotating boutique roasters and playful brew methods, matched by an Australian-focused wine list from Saint wine, local craft beers and easygoing cocktails.
