Tam Jiak at The New Sydney Fish markets presents a seafood-forward surf-and-turf menu, blending Malay flavours with a Western grill-house approach, highlighting premium seafood and inventive sambal- and assam-inspired dishes.
They have created an Exclusive menu for First Table Customers - Sea & Land Signature Menu showcasing the crowd favourites and high end luxury offerings such as Abalone Siu Mai Caviar, 9+ Wagyu Striploin Char Siu and Toothfish in the 8 course menu plus sides.
The menu also features the freshest ingredients direct from the fish markets next door such as Sydney rock oysters with a bright nyonya mignonette, while scallop cheong fun arrives silk-soft and glossed with foie gras sauce. Don't also forget their famous signature dish of Tong Mo Sausage.
If you want to add to the feast then Black Duck layers roasted siu duck and an ink-dark glaze with Yunnan rose jam, made for wrapping in warm pancakes. Char siu glazed Angus short ribs come with Anchor Chimichurri, while Tam Jiak Fried Rice folds in Silver Lake smoked eel and lap cheong. Char Koay Teow is wok-tossed with handpicked Alaskan king crab and a kiss of pork lard. Live pipies are also available with Malaysian chilli and mud crab keep seafood lovers grinning.
