Where Sydney's trendiest socialites venture to get papped, this vintage hotspot is the talk of the town. As one of the CBD's most alternative venues, Pappy's owes its reputation to its artsy vibe, the cool and groovy individuals who frequent it and its craft cocktails that always get the party started.

Fun, stylish and with a surprise around every corner, Pappy's Bar is for those who are down with whatever the evening brings. Dressed to impress, Pappy's is spread across three floors, each one more exciting than the last, where guests can stop at the retro bar for a pre-dinner tipple, head up the winding staircase for a candlelight supper and then marvel at the craft beer shrine that covers an entire wall. A snap-happy spot, this often precedes a night of revelry, where Pappy's catchy beats bring out the party animal in everyone.

What else is on the menu for the evening? How about a round of tacos? Filled with spicy jerk chicken, fried barramundi or Jamaican black beans, these hand-held yums can be folded, wrapped and demolished however you see fit. Alternatively, get some burgers in. All your wagyu beef patties, southern fried chicken and veggie patties are there, including some of Pappy's famous waffle fries for the ultimate feast.

As for drinks, Sydney's most exciting craft beer and cocktail menu awaits. All served with impeccable vintage flare, you can enjoy an Old Fashion or Negroni exactly how they're meant to be enjoyed: in a classic cocktail glass that wouldn't look bad on your Instagram feed. And when it comes to beers, enthusiasts will be ecstatic to be able to cross a few new brews off their list, even if they find themselves there in the early hours.
