Our waitresses Julija and Ann were exceptional in welcoming us to the restaurant and helping us choose the perfect dishes for our evening. The food itself was definitely delicious - the entrees were smaller than normal but the above average sized mains definitely made up for it!

Food and service were first rate. Had the Osso Bucco which was cooked to perfection. The accompanying risotto was the best I've had. My partner was also very happy with her meal which was the ribs.

The service was really good, we were offered the specials that were excellent quality, freshness, taste and absolutely enough per person. The waitress recommended good wine to the food. We had a great time.

The food was good, but not quite amazing. We had the bread and arancini to start. The bread was a random selection of different breads; I would have preferred just a normal baguette or slices of sourdough. The arancini was just one ball and quite dry (not cheesy enough); it may have been better as smaller balls not just one large one.
Mains were good and dessert was delicious (salted caramel icecream

My experience in Foir elements was disappointing. The restaurant wasn't full and yet we could have basic cutlery or beer glasses. Besides the wait for drinks.
They were kind giving us a desert as courtesy, but it didn't eliminate the previous mistakes.

The atmosphere was nice, decor and table settings were modern and clean. Not a big menu but enough there to tantalise any taste buds. For entree we had the Arancini ball with 3 cheeses and the pumpkin and feta ravioli, both very delicious. For mains we had the beef cheeks and they were devine , the jus in the beef cheeks was finger licking good! Highly recommend the Angus beef cheeks! Thumbs up to the chef.

As a chocoholic, there was plenty of desserts to choose from. The waitress did not get one of the dessert choices correct, she made up for the error by getting us the correct dessert and also leaving the wrong one for us to taste, which was lovely that she took ownership of the error and corrected it with a bit extra to make up for the error. Now that is great service ! In my experience most places would have taken back the wrong order and given the correct one, but never given the wrong one for free, well done Four Elements, very customer service focused

Would recommend to anyone to eat at Four Elements

We had a very beautiful evening at Four Elements a couple of weeks ago !
Right next to Central Station, so super easy to get to. Nice setting at the Mercure Hotel; beautiful service. Too much food to choose from, we had many different options, including for the vegetarian i am.
My partner went for the duck, i went for the barramundi , with several entrees, and the banana split and the chef's dessert of the day - an apple and crumble dish very lovely.

Everything was good, we would definitely recommend you enjoy this place with First Table !!! :)

Service was great, really helpful staff. Food was good, however the sauces accompanying the dishes where not very flavourful.

The food was amazing! But the atmosphere was weird because it was the restaurant inside the hotel. And they basically forgot about us because it was so busy.

My family enjoyed the dining experience. Would have given 5 stars if not for a hard Hazlenut brownie for dessert. The staff were friendly and tried hard with their service, just failIng to completely deliver. Would return as the mains were great.

Best service we have received in Sydney. Incredibly attentive, polite, quick and just a wonderful experience to be served by this staff. Food was better than average but the service was world class.

Had a great time at four elements. The staff was attentive and service very good. We opted for the newly introduced signature dishes: scallops for the entree and tenderloin & lobster for the main and it was delicious, especially paired with their creamy mash! we ended the meal with the Banana split and were not disappointed :)

Overall very pleased, what made it extra was the "vintage reggae cover" playlist!

The restaurant is located in the Mercure Hotel near Central Station. It is an awkward location to get to and park. However it is worth it as the food was great. The menu is interesting and the variety is good. They have the thick cut chips that I like as opposed to many restaurants who want to serve one those ridiculous fries. I had fish dish and it was delicious. We had the polenta chips with the truffle oil, the duck that was great and the risotto that was bland. The decor of the restaurant reflects many restaurants in hotels and is bland. At least the seats were comfortable unlike so many other restaurants these days. It was a nice evening and great meal and we would recommend this place.

The food was amazing and very (seriously) well presented and looked like it came out of MasterChef! Plus we got a window seat... Will definitely go back again.

We LOVED the food...the menu was amazing!!! Talk about tantalising the taste buds! Some of our favourites (which was almost everything we tried) were the Barramundi Ravioli, Brazed Angus Beef Cheeks and the Angus Rib Eye with Truffle Polenta Chips with Mushroom sauce.

Let me just say mouthwatering!!! The flavours were AMAZING!!! Best dinner out in a lovely ng time!

We will be seeing you guys again soon!!!!

A dining experience is made up of multiple variables such as restaurant ambience, service, decor and most importantly, the food.

At Four Elements, the food was lovely, however the other components were a bit... interesting. We arrived at an empty restaurant but one table. Which is what might be expected when dining early, of course. The music played was really odd; old house music for example. The interiors felt a bit tired and the wrinkled menus needed a reprint. Our waiter was so polite that it became comical, calling me "my lady" every single time. I know he was just being professional, but it got a bit much. Other staff were impeccable, though!

Food was very nice except for the polenta fries which had been cooked rock solid. The salmon with lemon risotto, t-bone steak and coffee brulée were very good! If you're after decent food, this place is fine but if you're after a nice dining experience, you might leave disappointed.
