Eastside Bar & Grill is located on the 1st floor in The Old Rum Store on Chippendale’s buzzing Kensington Street. It pays homage to the upmarket dining experiences of New York, nestled within a heritage listed warehouse, evoking the atmosphere of New York’s famed meatpacking district.

At Eastside Bar & Grill you’ll find the finest cuts of meat that have been dry-aged in-house and prepared on the beautiful Parrilla custom built wood-fire grill.

The beautiful Parrilla custom built by Rick, owner/fabricator of Fenwesco takes influence from South American cooking styles. The Vgroove grills catch most of the fat resulting in less flare up and a much healthier way of grilling. The Brasero ( fire box ) is designed to burn natural timbers giving unique flavours through your meats that charcoal doesn’t.

“The interior design is reflective of the warehouse-style restaurant spaces found in Brooklyn and the Meatpacking District and the name stems from New York being on the east coast of the US and the fact the restaurant is located on the east side of Kensington Street. Eastside Bar & Grill is a homage to two of my favourite places to visit and provides another first-rate dining experience in Chippendale.”
