Tucked away in a quiet arcade we discovered this wee treasure. All four of us enjoyed our beautifully presented meals. Definitely have a dessert! We all tried something different and once again we all were pleased. Great service an enjoyable evening!

This hidden away gem is well worth finding.
We started of with prawns with mango salsa and the seafood chowder that overflowing with seafood and was very creamy.
For the main I had the french seafood and the flavour was sensational.
All the seafood was tender and I enjoyed it immensely.
My husband had the Ox-tail which had replaced the Beef cheeks on the menu for this night. Well he loved it and said how flavousome the meat and sauce was.
For desert we had the New York cheescake and also the Mango Panancotta.
There was not one item that we ordered that we didn't enjoy.
The service was friendly and attentive. We'll be definitely be back.

Loved the festoon lighting and lanterns. Can’t believe we haven’t found this place before. Food was yum.

WOW! Our first experience using First Table & what a wonderful restaurant to start with. Don't be deterred by the underwhelming & somewhat chitzy lane entrance. From the moment we entered, all preconceptions were blown away; from the waitress' welcoming smile & subsequent faultless service to the absolutely exquisite food. Our meals were melt in the mouth divine & presentation superb. If it weren't impolite to lick my plate, I would have done so, just to savour the flavours a fraction longer. We chose the beef cheek & pork belly as mains. Not normally dessert eaters we succumbed to temptation. After all if the mains were so nice, what delights waited our taste buds. The panne cotta with chunky mango sauce capped off a memorable dining experience.
Did I mention the lovely ambience with fairy lights on one wall & background piano music.
In my work DNA is an acronym for Did Not Attend.... don't miss this dining opportunity... DMA.... Definitely Must Attend. We will be returning.

Had a lovely and delicious meal here. Spring rolls and edamame to start, and then hubby had the steak with risotto, and I the duck with risotto. Both presented well and tasted fantastic.
Our waitress was very attentive and had a lovely smile.
Tucked behind in the alleyway we never it knew it was there, so now we shall return. Thanks.

Wow DNA Cuisine is a hidden gem that impressed us with everything & deserve 5 stars

A hidden gem! We liked the quieter location off ocean street. We could talk and laugh over a lovely meal with our teenage sons. The beef cheeks were exceptional. 20 dollar sangria jug was excellent with the entree. King prawns a pick of them.

Great ambience with the lanterns hanging and nice furniture. We had spring rolls, pork belly and beef cheek. We then topped a lovely meal off with the very delightful New York Cheesecake and chocolate money bag (only ordered one but we should have ordered two) Yummy.....We will definitely return.

Stunning food that was beautifully presented. We had a main each (wagyu and beef cheek) then shared a third main (pork belly) as we’d both wanted it... all of these mains were yummy, superbly presented and brought out in a timely manner. We then asked for assistance with what to choose for desert. After going with what was suggested, we were once again provided with beautifully presented food that was really yummy. Now I don’t usually eat anything that I’m not sure of... however, the owner suggested the mochi desert and this was delicious. Thank you for a superb dining experience.

DNA Cuisine was a wonderfully romantic venue for our anniversary. The service was friendly and efficient. The meal was "to die for". I would certainly go there again and take friends with. Highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant, with really delicious food. We had the seafood chowder in the cob loaf as an entree, which was very memorable and a large serve, and the honeyed salmon with veges for the main course. All of the food was beautifully presented and very tasty, and the background music was great, as the volume was low enough to be able to talk at the table.
Definitely worth a visit.

Some of the friendliest service we've experienced! The menu choices were great and the food was so fresh and flavoursome. We had the King Prawns & Wild Mushroom Salad to start. Followed by Wagyu Steak (cooked to perfection) and the Veggie Stack. We're not normally dessert people, but as everything so far was so tasty and the service so great, we decided to stay for dessert - hard to fit it all in, but was equally as tasty as our entree's and mains. Even our piccolo coffee at the very end was made perfectly. Really couldn't fault anything. We will definitely be going back and taking our friends next time - nice to show off the little hidden gem we discovered.

Food was awesome apart from the chicken and chips which had what I can only guess is cinnamon all over it. The taste didn’t suit. The setting is nice but would like salt and pepper on the tables.

We were very disappointed with the meal. Our prawn entree had no egg noodles wrapped around the prawn the garlic bread was cut so thinly it was like eating a crouton and the spring rolls tasted as though they were a frozen product I could of bought from a supermarket. My husbands steak was definitely not worth the money you advertise on the menu. Our desserts were also disappointing the double mango panna cotta was more like a junket with jelly, there was no coconut crumb or mango salad as described, the dessert was served in a glass jar on a plate of sugar with blue food coloring mixed through....Im not sure why that was on the plate??

The waitresses were very welcoming although they assumed we were dining early in order to get a good start on the Latin Dancing offered (unknown to us at the time of booking,) which was taking place in two hours time. Unfortunately, both my companion and I ordered the Slow-Cooked Beef Cheeks. It was unfortunate because, firstly the beef cheeks were not that nice; and secondly,
as we had both ordered the same, there was no alternative dish to compare the beef cheeks to. Nevertheless, as the night wore on, the place became more lively as variations of music genres with a Latino beat were blasted from a portable speaker and a number of our fellow diners were lured to the makeshift dancefloor to sashay and salsa with other fellow diners. The dancing provided some notable entertainment for an easygoing chilled night out.

Couldn't fault the service at this restaurant. They were keen and interested in our enjoyment of the evening. The entrees didn't disappoint, we tried the savory daikon cake and the spicy fried prawn and noodle dish. Both were very tasty and different. The mains however, were a little lacklustre. I had the Salmon and my husband had the duck dish. Both dishes were a little nondescript and to our taste not very asian. We were expecting some more traditional food with a twist.

What a find. A hidden Gem. This young couple have put together an Asian Fusion dining delight.
Hidden in an Alley behind Ocean St maroochydore and worth seeking out.

Overall we had a great time. My partner and I chose to go to DNA to celebrate our 2 year anniversary, and it was totally worth.
The place has a cozy atmosphere, with nice ambient music making it easy to talk and enjoy a nice intimate dinner.
The food was the best, very creative plates of Asian fusion food.
For entree shared daikon cakes and a seafood chowder served on a bread that had great flavour. For mains I had the best Wagyu steak cooked to perfection and my partner had a really nice pork belly. Both plates were guarnished creatively and had great presentation, the quantity was also quite appropriate and enough for us to end the night with our stomachs filled and with a great sense of satisfaction after a yummy dinner, good service and atmosphere.
I recommend people do visit and try DNA cuisine, very friendly staff, good service and food and the prices are affordable in comparison to other local fine dining restaurants.

This restaurant is hidden away at the back of the Bendigo Bank in an arcade. This is unfortunate as it misses the passing trade of which there is heaps nearby. The food was delicious and different and all four who dined really enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent and couldn't be faulted.

The prawn entree was delicious with fat juicy prawns which were very fresh. The beef cheeks, seafood parcels, chicken salad and seafood chowder couldn't be faulted for flavour and taste. The desserts were also excellent and I would thoroughly recommend a visit to this restaurant. I notice that it has a very competitive lunch menu as well.

For our greeting to leaving, everything was 5*. The food was incredible, fresh, original, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Staff were amazing and very accommodating with any dietary needs! The menu is really interesting with a variety of dishes to choose from. The flavours of the food was fantastic. We had the duck and the beef cheek and highly recommend both dishes! Given its in the 'arcade' at the Beach Road end of Ocean street, its not as 'visible' as the Ocean Street restaurants but its definitely worth doing the little 'detour' to find this place!!!
