We had an absolutely wonderful time at Petite Mort! The food was incredible and the service absolutely lovely. We were made very welcome, enjoying drinks in the courtyard before the degustation began. Will definitely be returning!

Wish I could add more stars to the rating! This is the second time dining at Petite Mort and is fast becoming one of my absolute favourite restaurants. Restaurant was clean, service was prompt and welcoming, and food was delicious. Whilst the degustation menu is the only available menu with the First Table deal, it's the menu I would definitely recommend. Each dish is perfectly cooked, with unique combinations of flavours. Had my petite fours to go, so I could enjoy it the next day. The menu is constantly evolving so will definitely recommend and will definitely be back for a wonderful fine dining experience!

Our visit to Petit Mort was exceptional and amazing from the moment we walked in. Throughout the evening we received top notch service and attention from the maître’d. The food was beyond beautifully presented. A true work of art with a little bit of theatre that makes the moment special. The flavour combinations were well thought out and the food cooked to perfection. Standout dishes on the degustation menu were the kangaroo loin which was melt in your mouth, and the smoked bean purée which was super special. But that’s personal preference because all the dishes stood out in their perfection. Would be a definite recommendation and Petit Mort is top of our list to visit again.

If you are yearning a little French getaway in Perth then travel to Petit Mort! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff and an ambience that welcomes cosy conversations and laughter to remember. The only thing more tasteful than the art on the walls is the 9 course degustation. Every meal was beautifully presented by the chefs and staff, highlights include cured salmon, beef tail wrapped in prosciutto and a passion fruit curd with soufflé for dessert. Upon our arrival the staff became aware that our dinner was to celebrate a birthday, much to our surprise, we were given a complimentary 10th course to mark the occasion which included caramelised peanut butter macaroons and almond madeleines, could it possibly get any more French? This restaurant oozes a style of its own with professional staff that makes it an ooh la la experience!

We had the 9 course degistation menu. Every dish was very good and cooked perfectly. Our fav dishes were the confit duck and the death by chocolate dessert. The service was great and the restaurant had a nice feel. I would recommend and look forward to going back :)

Fabulous experience. Really love this restaurant. Everything is excellent. Food delicious - both presentation and taste and always a bit different. Serve sizes are perfect - when you are having the degustation menu.
Lovely wines - good choice and reasonably price.
The service is first class - each person takes great pride in their work and is always keen to help with any requests. Thank you very much. Great night. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Been here once before and as usual the food and service was excellent. Every single course had a unique twist and was delicious. Even the mocktail I ordered came with a ball of sorbet served on top. Probably one of my favourite restaurants in Perth.

We had been meaning to dine at Petite Mort for some time. When I noticed they were participating in First Table, I made it my mission to book into this highly sort after restaurant. We were warmly greeted by all staff, and service remained attentive and friendly throughout the night. The food was outstanding- we truly could not fault any of the 9 courses!
Highly recommend everyone else makes the same decision to book here- you won't be disappointed. The 50% off food offer makes the whole experience so much sweeter, and irresistible to be honest!

Wow. What an awesome little gem. Really one of the best fine dining meals in Perth. It beats so many others hands down (Guillaume’s etc) and is in a much more character and stylish setting. Awesome service. Can’t rate highly enough.

I liked everything about this restaurant and our experience there.
Atmosphere: Nice but not ostentatious (smart casual). Chairs were comfortable; tables were a reasonable distance apart; noise level was very acceptable.
Service: Choice of still or sparkling water and our glasses were never empty. Wait staff was friendly and personable without being overly intrusive. They asked about allergies and food intolerances and were knowledgeable about all the food (immediately able to tell me what contained lactose and how much) and described each course in detail. They asked if it was a special occasion and, as it was, we received a plate with happy anniversary written on it at the end and a sparkler with a few small biscuits.
Food: Divine. From the contrast of flavours and textures to the appearance, and even the temperature, everything was impeccable and delicious. Beef, pork, and chicken were beautifully tender where they needed to be, other bits warm or crisp or creamy in turn. A few standouts for me included a wasabi sorbet and the death by chocolate dessert, which did indeed live up to the name Petite Mort.
Drink: We opted not to do the wine pairing with our meal, but ordered a glass of the sparkling wine which was delicious, and when my husband wanted a glass of wine they recommended the dry rose which was the pairing for the pork course and he was very happy with that choice.
I would happily recommend Petite Mort to anyone who likes a degustation experience. Having the First Table discount was wonderful, though we were probably there for over three hours and saw many other happy patrons paying full price. Great experience.

Beautiful food from preparation to presentation. Service was delightfully warm and very accommodating. With one of us having some food allergies, it took a little creativity for the chef to come up with an instant twist on the dish and it was very well executed.

The chef's cured salmon signature dish was delicious. A couple of the meat dishes were a bit fat for my liking but others adored them.

Death by Chocolate? Absolutely! It's an adventurous chocolate trail served up on a plate. Every mouthful was to die for.

Dinner was incredible. We began at 6pm for the 9 course degustation and had a glass of wine to start, but did not opt for the matched wines as we were sadly driving.

The starter was a caviar and oyster bellini served with a theatrical pour of celeriac volutee, the food only got better from there. The outstanding dishes for us were the duck, the beef and the death by chocolate. I would go again just for the dessert! The waiters were both friendly, welcoming and explained each dish to us, our water glass was never empty and the ambience and decor of the venue was intimate and warm.

This restaurant has always put up an excellent standard in all regards. It was my number one choice when I was thinking of somewhere special to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. Enjoyed their signature degustation. Food beautifully presented and tasted just as good. Chef was happy to swap in a dish from another menu that we really wanted to try. We weren't rushed, and were able to finish off a couple of lovely bottles of wine.

From the time we stepped into the restaurant we were treated with a smile, attentiveness, professionalism and of course delicious food. The staff knew the dishes well and dietary requirements were well catered for. Even though the Head chef (Todd) was not there the chefs that were there did him proud with attention to detail and flavour. Thank you for a lovely evening. Lily

LOVE LOVE this restaurant. Firstly the service is amazing 110% then the food just as good in fact fabulous. Each course a total surprise - presentation first class plus the serving person takes the time to explain what the course is. A delightful experience. The fact that it was packed on a Thursday night is proof of just how good this restaurant is. You must try it if you are looking for a really special dining experience. Enjoy !

Simply a "culinary delight" - as the four of us journeyed through dining experience each of the beautifully presented 9 courses was described in detail by friendly, fun loving and attentive staff, our taste buds were tantalized by every morsel we ate. So great that Petit Mort partners with First Table; the food has always been impeccable and now to get it at a price like that! From the entrees to the dessert (and a surprise at the end), this was a taste of heaven. They even accommodated a last minute change request for the food. It was a night out to remember. Now I'm on the hunt for more great restaurants that partner with FT. Thanks for making this happen!
