Our voyage begins with tapas plates. Ease into the evening with mushroom and truffle arancini, beef carpaccio or freshly baked garlic focaccia, all of which bring back memories of stolen afternoons and evenings in Italia. You could also start in Egypt with crispy falafel, the recipe of which has been handed down generations from grandma herself.

Mains flirt with homemade Italian pasta dishes, all of which are made fresh daily and topped with slow cooked lamb ragu, local seafood and blue swimmer crab. Then there are the pizzas. Disposing of symmetry, Amuni's pizzas are delightfully lob-sided which only proves that they were handmade with love and then stacked with plenty of toppings like ham, chorizo, mussels in their shells, fresh vegetables and whole prawns. As Amuni proves time and again, perfection comes in many different forms.
