In the heart of Perth’s CBD, My Place Bar welcomes guests into a space where comfort and curiosity sit side by side. Led by a chef with more than 15 years of experience across two countries, the kitchen brings together well-loved favourites and the bold, soulful flavours of Africa.

The menu celebrates West African and South African influences while keeping room for timeless classics. Smoky jollof rice served with sweet, golden plantain is a vibrant standout, while egusi soup with tender goat offers a deeply warming, home-style richness.

Pounded yams and plantains deliver satisfying depth and texture, perfect for sharing around the table. For those craving something familiar, fish and chips and beef burgers arrive crisp and comforting, while sweet puff puff and small chops add a playful finish to the feast.

At My Place Bar, guests can slow down after the city's rush, gather with friends or family, and let generous plates and easy conversation carry the evening.
