dinner

Perched on the tenth floor of Quay Perth Hotel, HQ Bar and Kitchen looks out across Elizabeth Quay with a modern, chic poise.

The rooftop terrace sets the tone for sunset rendezvous and intimate celebrations, while the dining room keeps things polished yet relaxed - a city sanctuary where the skyline steals the occasional glance.

In the kitchen, Asian-inspired share plates lead the way. Think Korean fried chicken with a creamy onion whisper, yakitori skewers fresh from the grill, and the crunch of salt and Szechuan pepper squid with shichimi mayo.

West Australian provenance shines in grilled Shark Bay scallops glossed with XO butter and crispy shallots, while larger plates bring comfort and character - Wagyu flank steak in a Korean ghalbi marinade, or five-spiced duck breast with potato rosti, baby carrots and mushrooms.

To finish, desserts strike a playful note: Matcha tiramisu, or a Thai tea Basque cheesecake cooled by yuzu sorbet.

At the bar, refreshing signature cocktails, a selection of local beers and wines offer the perfect sip while taking in the sweeping river views.

Make a date, claim a spot on the terrace, and let Perth’s evening unfurl - rooftop dining, with altitude and attitude!
