Crisp white interiors and glass panels which slide open to reveal an al fresco terrace are every bit as fresh and modern as the menu, which changes constantly to reflect what’s in season.

Created by Michelle Ralph and Rosetta Keenan, the restaurant’s combination of warm service and flavoursome food make it the perfect spot for everything from a quick bite to a long dinner with friends.

The menu reflects the best of Western Australia. Think organic meats, light vegetarian options and freshly-caught seafood, as well as a mouthwatering selection of sides. Poached pear and blue cheese salad is a fantastic addition to any meal.

Crowd pleasers include the fillet steak with truffle polenta and pan-fried fish of the day with lentils and chorizo. To start, don’t miss the tomatoes crostini with goats cheese and salty olives.

The wine list focuses on Australian producers, although there are some handpicked European labels to try too. When it comes to cocktails, expect sophisticated serves flavoured with herbs. Pomegranate mojito anyone?

Service was okay, but that was made up for with the quality of food served. Prices were reasonable and atmosphere was nice, especially when the live music started at 6:30. Had a lovely dinner, will dine here again :)

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Fresch Restaurant. It was our first First Table experience and we were their first First Table guests. They made us feel very welcome and were able to choose where we sat. We sat outside and the table was quickly set for us. It happened to be happy hour when we arrived too which was an added bonus! We shared an appetiser and had a main each and we were both delighted with our choice of food. My wife had the lamb rump and I had the steak. They were both delicious and we will be going back to eat there again based on that. The appetiser (a salmon dish) was delicious too. We managed to fit in the chocolate fondant for dessert as well and we're glad we did!
