On Chevron Island, Gold Coast, Bottega Chevron Village is a refined yet relaxed address for Italian dining. Founded in 2020, it delivers unique regional flavours to the area, balancing casual fine dining with genuine warmth.

At its heart stands a stylish Vesuvio wood-fired oven, bringing authentic character to the dining space in an ambience that celebrates rich culinary tradition.

The mood is unhurried: perhaps a plate of salumi with prosciutto crudo and coppa, or pizza all’aglio layered with fresh garlic, buffalo mozzarella and wild oregano. Calamari fritti with lemon keeps things bright and simple, letting quality ingredients speak for themselves.

Comfort finds form in bowls of Bologna-style gnocchi with ragu and classic spaghetti carbonara with pancetta. From the risotteria, risi e bisi and tartufo e funghi misti promise depth and fragrance, while patate all’Italiana and asparagi alla brace add a rustic lift.

For heartier appetites, slow-cooked pappardelle con ossobuco makes its presence known, delivering a deeply satisfying centrepiece.

Polished without pretence, this is a room made for conversation and second helpings. Book a table, come hungry, and let the oven’s glow and a swirl of truffle set the scene - la dolce vita on Chevron Island!
