During the roasting summers, Perrotta's patio is always buzzing as diners shelter from the sun with ice-cold cocktails and fragrant Italian food. As with any Italian dinner, you are advised to take your time; three-course meals are always recommended. So, pair your first glass of white with some arancini balls oozing with pecorino cheese and fresh basil, roast Tasmanian octopus with pickles, Pacific oysters or some creamy burrata cheese with San Daniele prosciutto.

Mains consist of fresh pastas, pizzas and stunning meat and seafood dishes. Let's start with Perrotta's signature spicy vodka rigatoni. It's tomatoey, creamy and cheesy, whilst the house-made gnocchi is rich and meaty with braised duck and a porcini mushroom ragu. Alternatively, enjoy supper by the slice with any of their traditional pizzas, plus house specials like the "RIP Tony Soprano" with bacon, spicy salami and pork sausage. Finally, no Italian meal is complete without dolci at the end and at Perrotta, they live by the Italian playbook.
