Nestled on the picturesque waterfront, which overlooks Trinity Inlet, Dundee’s Restaurant on the Waterfront offers visitors to Cairns, and locals alike, the perfect environment to celebrate a special occasion, entertain clients or simply relax and watch the world go by.

Executive Chef James Wort has created an exquisite menu in addition to daily blackboard specials that feature a range of produce that North Queensland and Australia have to offer.

Fresh Local Seafood is Dundee’s speciality and the chef sources local seafood daily. Some of the favourites include the sand crab slider, the lime and chilli tiger prawns and the grilled slipper lobster.

The diverse menu has something for everyone including Australian-bred beef, pasta, salads and unique Australian fare such as kangaroo and crocodile.

With a substantial outdoor al fresco dining area and a variety of indoor and private options, the restaurant can cater for just about any dining expectation. The restaurant has an extensive wine list showcasing some of Australia’s most popular wines. Offering the perfect fusion between Waterfront Dining with Australian Cuisine, Dundees is rapidly establishing itself as when in Cairns… you must come to Dundees! So Book Now!

Don't forget they also have another venue, Cairns Aquarium Restaurant, featuring the largest tank within a restaurant in Australia: a stunning 70,000 litre saltwater marine aquarium, providing a mesmerising encounter with coastal aquatic life.
