Miss Manhattan – Newstead’s slice of New York

Inspired by a deep love for New York City, hospitality operator Adrianne Arizabal has brought her long-held dream to life with Miss Manhattan, an exquisite bar and dining room where old-world glamour meets designer industrial chic.

Housed in the former site of The Matriarch on Masters Street, the venue has undergone a stylish transformation, blending blue and gold hues, marble tables, leather lounges and chandeliers with a chic-meets-grunge edge that nods to NYC’s eclectic personality. Guests enter through iron gates and a decorative archway into a high-ceilinged warehouse space that features a chandelier-lit main bar, an alfresco courtyard, and the intimate Studio 30, a candlelit 30-seat dining room.

The menu is a love letter to New York’s culinary diversity, split into sections like 5th Ave Classics, The Chelsea Edit, 42nd & Cured, and From the Docks. Expect playful twists on classics such as Reuben croquettes, Harlem chicken lollipops, wagyu sliders, and Little Italy arancini, alongside refined plates like smoked wagyu bresaola and watermelon burrata. To finish, indulgences include New York cheesecake with limoncello and coconut or the show-stopping Park Ave Golden Pear, dressed in gold leaf.

From the bar, Margaritas (classic, Tommy’s, mezcal), Martinis (classic, espresso, Big Apple), Sours, Highballs, and timeless signatures like the Manhattan, Old Fashioned and Negroni. These sit alongside a thoughtful wine list, champagne by the glass or bottle, craft beers on tap, and curated spirits.

The atmosphere is brought to life with weekly live jazz, cocktail masterclasses, and wine pairing experiences – making Miss Manhattan not just a bar, but a full immersion into New York sophistication in the heart of Newstead.
