Olivera brings a breezy, coastal Italian ambience to Manly, with warmth and a touch of polish. It's a room that glows at golden hour, inviting long lunches that drift into relaxed afternoons and serene dinners that unfold at an unhurried pace.

Across the menu, Mediterranean flavours meet local bounty. Begin with ostrica - served hand-selected natural or 'Kilpatrick' style with pancetta, hot sauce and a whisper of pork floss - or opt for a silken carpaccio of Angus shorthorn beef crowned with Grana Padano cream.

The pasta selection leans oceanward: gnocchi strewn with local prawns and scallops in a rich bisque, or linguine ala marinara with Australian scallops, clams and a delicate local fish quenelle. Comfort arrives in a Ruby Creek mushroom risotto sharpened with truffle, while the bistecca di manzo brings a 300g shorthorn sirloin glazed in a savoury jus.

Sweet finishes maintain the Italian lilt: tiramisu a la brulee, or an affogato with a fresh shot of espresso over creamy vanilla gelato.

Designed for settling in, sharing plates and losing track of time, Olivera feels like a little getaway in the heart of Manly. Book your next dine-out and let the seaside spirit do the rest!
