What used to be beloved Farmer Joe's is now this beautiful, wholesome vision of farm-to-fork dining. A family-owned and operated eatery and store, Farm House Kedron is uncompromisingly organic, endlessly warm-hearted and now a staple in the Kedron and wider Brisbane community.

Nestled in a quiet corner in the quaint borough of Kedron, Farm House is a breath of fresh air, and a welcome antidote to the city. Made entirely of wood with a richly textured interior of silky grey tiles, dull brown leathers and fairtrade coffee and potato sacks, this eatery keeps things nice and neutral, preferring to stick with a 'less is more' philosophy. Indeed, their whole ethos encourages us to do without unseasonal goods and make the most of what is readily available.

Does that sound like a good way to start your day? We thought so. Start off on a seasonal note with some creamy mushrooms on sourdough, made even more heavenly with a red pepper tapenade. And if you've woken up with a rumbling tummy, the farmhouse potato cake with crispy cheese, grilled bacon and poached eggs should fill your boots nicely.

As for midday you can expect the same fresh food, only this time more 'lunchy'. Begin your afternoon on a healthy and nutritious note with a green bowl full of yeast, nuts, green vegetables and tahini.
