Elio’s Osteria has been bringing classic Italian comfort to Carina since 1983, serving generous flavours and simple pleasures. Frequently awarded the most romantic restaurant, it welcomes diners with the warm aroma of garlic and herbs.

Pasta takes centre stage on the menu. Spaghetti or gnocchi bolognese delivers all the slow-cooked depth one hopes for, while lasagne is layered with silky béchamel. Seafood is celebrated in a glossy spaghetti marinara filled with calamari, scallops, prawns, fish and mussels, and fettuccini with chicken, feta and pesto is folded into a luxuriously creamy sauce.

Risotto also shines with dishes like Morgan’s risotto, combining chicken, spinach and mushrooms in a soothing fashion, and a seafood risotto Napoli that sings of the sea. Pizzas lean indulgent, with barbecue chicken, bacon and onion offering all the right smoky-sweet notes.

Make a date in Carina, arrive hungry, and leave happily twirling. Every visit to Elio’s Osteria is a celebration of good food, warm company and simple Italian pleasures.
