In the heart of Brisbane CBD, Doughcraft Italian Restaurant celebrates Italian technique with a contemporary, city-wise polish. True to its name, the focus is on craft: the elegance of simplicity, the patience of slow cooking, and the quiet thrill of texture and temperature.

Across the menu, familiar favourites arrive with poise and restraint. Frittura di calamari is crisp and clean with a squeeze of lemon, while burrata meets marinated vegetables and grilled bread. The kitchen leans into comfort with saffron-bright risotto ossobuco and twirls fresh Moreton Bay bug spaghetti through sweet cherry tomatoes.

Roman-style pizza lands light yet satisfying, from a classic margherita lifted with basil pesto to the luxuriant tartufo, where mushrooms, Italian sausage, smoked provola, and truffle perform a slow waltz. For a comforting, indulgent finish, the chocolate tortino reveals a soft molten centre balanced with fresh raspberries.

Expect clear, confident flavours, a nod to the local coastline, and the timeless rhythm of Italian dining. Book a table, bring your appetite, and let the dough do the talking.
