Set in Prospect, Adelaide, Rasoi and Barrel channels the spirit of a traditional kitchen with the energy of Indian street food. The menu draws on Rasoi – The Traditional Indian Kitchen, guiding diners through bright, spice-led flavours alongside the satisfying crunch, sizzle, and smoke that define beloved classics.

Small plates of chakna offer a great start, featuring crispy papad and a lively peanut masala tossed with onions, tomatoes, coriander, and zesty spices. Street food favourites include gol gappe, bursting with flavour and fillings, alongside richly spiced pav bhaji served with soft, buttered buns.

The clay oven takes centre stage next, with paneer tikka and tawa paneer showcasing cottage cheese kissed by heat and spice. Chicken tikka masala and lamb rogan josh stand out as must-try speciality curries, while a creamy kheer rice pudding provides the perfect finish.

This unfussy, flavour-first experience is made for sharing and conversation, where each bite feels like a step along a bustling lane. Follow the fragrance to Rasoi and Barrel, where the culinary journey is just as joyful as the destination.
